A cantata, for lack of a better term, for soprano and chamber ensemble, premiered in 1997 by soprano Thomasa Eckert and The Young Composers Collective thanks to an Artists Trust GAP award. The lyrics are excerpted from Eduardo Galeano’s book Century of the Wind (used by permission).
